The CFAO Equipment SA Training Academy provides both our internal employees, as well as our customer’s employees, with comprehensive learning initiatives that range from soft skills through to product and technical aptitudes and training, certifications and trade qualifications across all warehousing and industrial equipment and processes, irrespective of brand.

The academy comprises seven certified national trainers, four administrative support employees and a dedicated learning materials developer, who ensures that high-quality materials and content are readily available.

When not in use, the facility in Kempton Park is available for corporate hire.

Equipment Driver Training

CFAO Equipment SA equipment driver training and licensing initiatives verify a learner’s ability to operate a variety of forklift trucks. Our training assures customers that their drivers are safe and efficient, and competent in the movement and stacking of loads within OEM specifications and according to associated industry legislation.

Our training and licensing initiatives meet the following standards:

Course Duration: See training course structure below
Certificate Validity: Valid for 2 years

Training courses are structured as per the prior qualifications and experience of driver training candidates.

Equipment driver training courses are structured as follows:

Novice: Candidates with no prior training or experience = 5 day training course.
Refresher: Candidates with a valid certificate or license, but within 90 days of expiry of either of these two documents = will be a renewal for one day.
On-site training at the customer’s premises is recommended as drivers are familiar with the forklift.
